Goodbye to 2011…Whoa

Holy cats…only 1.5 more days of 2011 left.

2011 was a year of stasis.  I’m not sure if it’s a bad thing, or a good thing.

Mike and I lived apart for the entire year, with me in Ohio and him in Pennsylvania.

Things were good, though.  I think we’re doing better than ever with one another.  It would just be nice if we could be in the same state.

My family is better than ever.

My job is going well.

So although it WAS a year of stasis, I had a lot of fun and I’m very thankful for how great things are.

Plus, I got to go to Roseanne’s house with Kay and hang out in Indy with Barbs and Robert.

I got to participate in The Requiem Project and had a great time in Cincinnati.  I also got to take Mike to Kentucky for the first time.

My cousin, Heather had baby Jax.

Mike’s cousin, Heather had baby Grady and Tori had baby Brennan.

I did move into a new apartment, which is slightly non-stasis-y.

I visited Wilmington for the first time since I graduated.

I had my two-year anniversary with Mike in downtown Cleveland.

I pierced my rook…

I guess I didn’t do too bad overall.  Like I said, I’m happy.  So since this is the last post of 2011, I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope that you enjoy yourself.  Also, DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!
